Our main training facility is located about 30 minutes northeast of Gainesville at the Bradford Sportsmen's Farm. While it is a little off the beaten path, we prioritize the quality of our training over convenience and have found the quality of the facility to be well worth the drive. We're confident you will as well.

Range Fee

The Bradford Sportsmen's Farm charges a $20 per day range fee to non-members. This fee is NOT included in our tuition rates and must be paid directly to the range.

Range Rules and Regulations

  • No drugs or alcohol prior to or during use of the range.
  • Eye and ear protection are required. No exceptions.
  • Everyone must follow the Four Basic Rules of Firearm Safety at all times:
    1. Treat all guns as if they are loaded.
    2. Never point a gun at anything you are not willing to shoot or destroy.
    3. Keep your finger straight and off the trigger until your sights are on the target and you are ready to shoot.
    4. Be sure of your target, what is in line with it and what is beyond it.
  • Hot Range – Flag Up and Visible – Firearms and ammunition may be handled and used. No one is allowed forward of the firing line for any reason at any time.
  • Cold Range – Flag Down or Not Visible – Firearms or ammunition cannot be handled and the firing line is off-limits to everyone for the duration except the Range Officer for supervision. Targets may be added, adjusted, replaced or removed during this period.
  • Rapid fire is limited to 3 round bursts. No exceptions.
  • Firearm action is to be open and safe on any firearm not actively being used.
  • All shooting must be in your "lane" forward of your position. No cross lane or angle shooting.
  • All shooters under the age of 18 must be accompanied/supervised by a parent or legal guardian.
  • Upon the "CEASE FIRE" command from ANYONE, all shooters must stop shooting immediately, put down their firearms facing toward the target, and step back from the firing line. Shooters may return to the firing line only after the "ALL CLEAR" signal has been given.
  • Approved ground level targets must be placed on the berm. No exceptions.
  • All paper targets must be of proper height to ensure berm capture.
  • All steel targets must be placed on the berm and approved by Range Management.
  • No explosive targets or tracer rounds are permitted at any time. No exceptions.
  • Immediately notify the Range Management of any unsafe practices.
  • Please ask the Range Management or Range Safety Officer for clarification if you have any questions on the Range Rules and Regulations.
  • We reserve the right to eject any and all personnel who fail to comply with these range rules.
  • Before leaving, please ensure that your area is clean and ready for the next shooter.
